THE CROW (1994)

I wanted to creates a original one sheet for this amazing 1994 gothic superhero film....The Crow. A Tragic story made even more tragic by the real life tragedies surrounding the film (Brandon Lee's death during filming, and the fact that the story is a result of James O'Barr's personal loss of his fiancée).
This is the first time since I started using Procreate with Photoshop, that I felt totally comfortable incorporating it into the mix. More confident with it. I feel the art shows this.
The night before his wedding, musician Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée are brutally murdered by members of a violent inner-city gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the gothic mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. Tracking down the thugs responsible for the crimes and mercilessly murdering them, Eric eventually confronts head gangster Top Dollar (Michael Wincott) to complete his macabre mission.
