Back in 2021 I created a movie style one sheet poster for David Gordon Green's 2018 slasher sequel Halloween.
So I wanted to create a set of Halloween posters starting with 1978 and finishing with Halloween Ends. And last year, I did just that. I was happy with the set over all, but there were some things I would change now if I were to do them all again. This poster is very much a product of inexperience in my poster design. And unfortunately I had to carry certain design choices made in this poster though the rest of the set. I’m happy with this set as a whole, but I would do it differently if I do it a again.
Halloween (2018) is the eleventh installment in the Halloween film series and a sequel to the 1978 film of the same name, while effecting a retroactive continuity ('retcon') of all previous sequels. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle who reprise their respective roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, with stuntman James Jude Courtney also portraying Myers. After a narrow escape over four decades ago, Laurie Strode comes face-to-face with Michael Myers after he escapes from captivity. She must confront her worst fears and put an end to his killing spree.
